Chicago + Us = Good Times
We just got back from Chicago last night. Although it's good to be home, we had such a fantastic trip--so full of sweet memories, tasty food, happy celebrations, and family time!
We started the trip out with a 6:45 flight. Ungodly, I tell you. My sister picked us up, and we spent some time hanging out with her, enjoying a classic breakfast, and enjoying our hotel.
When the rest of my family arrived, we found a lovely little Greek restaurant and ate some gyros.
The next day, we started with breakfast at a traditional Swedish restaurant (so yummy!) and then spent some time exploring the Lincoln Square area of Chicago.

Then, we headed to downtown and enjoyed Michigan Ave and the Apple store (of course!)
Jenna (my sister) had her baccalaureate service in a church downtown, and we got some nice sibling shots afterwards!
The next day, it was the big G-day (college graduation!) and my little sister become a college grad. How fun is that!
We enjoyed some festivities after the service and then hit up the Chicago Shedd Museum. I loved the penguins!
The night ended with pizza at Gino's East and a misty night in the city.
On Mother's Day, we headed back to Texas and enjoyed some time with my in-laws as well.
Now, back to the reality of moving, cleaning, packing....etc....oh, Chicago, I miss you already!

Sounds like such a fun vacation! I have always wanted to visit Chicago but unfortunately haven't gotten there yet :( I guess I"ll have to live vicariously through your posts!
