What I've been cooking up...

One day, I was chatting with my husband about my "dream" job.

I told him I'd love to stay home and cook/bake all day. I would, of course, add in some painting and decorating in there too!

I also told some friends that I'd love to start a food blog.

Josh, along with my friends, said "why not?"

So I did.

Although I know I could just post those recipes up on this blog, I decided that it would be more fun to have a blog all about food. Just food ---a collection of recipes I've tried, created, or tweaked.

The Ugly Kitchen Experiment!

I probably had too much fun designing it--believe me, I tried about 10 different templates. I even tried Wordpress. Although Wordpress was cool, I know more about blogger so I thought it would keep my life a little simpler! In the end, I went with something simple and kind on the eyes.
