Blog Renovations

Since I started blogging about a year ago, I've learned a lot of new things about codes, graphics, and pictures!  Somehow I've figured out to manipulate html code, make a banner, change colors, download new fonts, make a button, etc.

I used the tutorial at Clover Leaf to guide me in my banner process. She uses Picasa and her tutorial is wonderful! I've also used Picasa to make my blog button and some other cool stuff!  If you are a novice like me, I think you'll find that it's pretty basic and simple.

I've also learned how to get those fancy network/feed/e-mail buttons!  Want to know how?  Check out Maryann's tutorial at Domestically Speaking.

I definitely learn by trail and error, but perhaps I could take some time and give you some tips/tutorials about changing text colors and fonts, making a button, or creating a background.  Now, if I could only remember how to do those things.  Or, I could be lazy and point you to the tutorials that I have used!

I think it's fun to change things up a bit on this old blog and it's also fun to learn the process of creating a blog that reflects me!  I hope to continue to learn more-- so be be prepared for more renovations in the future!
