Developing a Style
As I grow into our home, I'm still trying to "define" my style. I have realized (with a bit of dismay) that I don't really have one. I know what I like, but I'm not always sure how to put it all together. I have determined a few things:
1.) It's okay to not have one style. In fact, it might be a little boring to just have one.
2.) I like color in the details. I change my mind too often to use a crazy fabric for a headboard or buy a yellow couch. But a fun lamp or funky pillows...hand them over!
3.) I either spend too little time thinking about a purchase (which results in weird projects or buying other things to fit what I bought and then realizing I don't like it) or spending too much time thinking about it (which usually means I never buy it!). I'm still working on "taking the leap" without regretting my purchuse by keeping mental list of what I'm looking for.
Here are some examples of what I like from Decorpad.com:

I'm excited to see how my style continues to develop! (Like most things) I'm sure once I figure it out, I'll change my mind :)
Hi there! I'm stopping by from Better After. I can TOTALLY relate to all of the above! I like what I see here and am going to follow.
